ISA IMAGIN Inspires School Students to Conserve Water through Innovative Model Exhibition and Dramatic Performances

Sarmistha Roy: Berhampore:  In a commendable initiative aimed at fostering awareness , IMAGIN  orchestrated an impactful awareness campaign at Takipur Primary School , Murshidabad . The focus of the event was to enlighten young minds about the critical need for water conservation and responsible water usage.

The highlight of the day was a model exhibition organized by IMAGIN , showcasing innovative and practical approaches to water conservation and groundwater recharge . The exhibition provided students with a hands-on experience, allowing them to understand the significance of preserving water resources in their daily lives.

IMAGIN , as the ISA of Jal Jeevan Mission in Murshidabad District  , engaged the students of the school in a series of interactive sessions, imparting knowledge about the dire consequences of water scarcity and the importance of adopting sustainable practices. The students were enthralled by the various models on display, which depicted methods for rainwater harvesting, water recycling, and efficient use of water in households.

 

To further amplify the message, students took the stage with a captivating drama performance. The play was designed to instill a sense of responsibility and awareness among their peers regarding water conservation. The storyline emphasized the impact of individual actions on the environment and the community, urging everyone to be mindful of their water consumption.

Spreading awareness through exhibition

The event proved to be a resounding success, as the combination of the model exhibition and the dramatic performance left a lasting impression on the young minds. The students not only gained valuable insights into water conservation techniques but also developed a sense of duty towards the environment.

 

MD ELAHI BAKSH , the principal of Takipur  Primary School, expressed his  gratitude towards IAGIN  for organizing such an enlightening and engaging event. He stated, “It’s crucial to instill these values in our students from a young age, and IMAGIN as ISA of JJM   has done a commendable job in making the learning experience both educational and enjoyable.”
