Festival of Love and Bonding Reinvented to Promote Water Conservation

Ipsita Mukherjee: 30 August 2023:  IMAGIN as ISA of Jal Jeevan Mission in North 24 Parganas, Nadia, Birbhum and Murshidabad districts of West Bengal  is celebrating  Rakhi festival  in a unique and eco-conscious manner this year. In a bid to raise awareness about water conservation and foster stronger community ties students are tying Eco-Friendly Rakhis with a Purpose.

These handmade rakhis are  not only environmentally friendly but also carrying  a significant message. Each rakhi bore a heartfelt message advocating for water conservation and responsible water use. These messages encouraged individuals to make conscious choices for the betterment of our planet.

On this special day IMAGIN as ISA    is  organizing a series of interactive bonding activities. Attendees, mainly students, participated actively in discussions and hands-on activities designed to deepen their understanding of water conservation.
