IMAGIN Drives Community Participation and Awareness in NTPC Farakka’s Swachhata Pakhwada 2026

Under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of NTPC Farakka, IMAGIN executed Swachhata Pakhwada 2026 —held from 16th to 31st May 2026 in line with the Swachh Bharat Mission.

The campaign aimed to promote cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental responsibility through active participation from employees and local communities.

Mobilizing the Community

IMAGIN’s core contribution to the campaign was building a genuine connection between NTPC Farakka and the surrounding communities. On 26th May 2026 the observance at New Farakka Station began with a Swachhata Pledge, bringing together community members and NTPC officials in a shared commitment to cleanliness. IMAGIN coordinated cleanliness drives at New Farakka Station, organized dustbin distribution to support responsible waste disposal, and led a signature campaign for Swachhata to visibly reinforce community commitment across stations.

Raising Awareness Through Dialogue

To deepen the campaign’s impact beyond physical cleanup, IMAGIN organized a “Waste to Wealth” workshop, bringing in experts to engage directly with community members on sustainable waste management practices and the value of turning waste into a resource.

The workshop reflected IMAGIN’s broader approach: pairing on-ground action with awareness-building that encourages lasting behavioral change.

A Successful Execution

Through this initiative, IMAGIN demonstrated its ability to turn a corporate CSR initiative into a genuinely participatory community movement.

The successful execution of Swachhata Pakhwada 2026 at NTPC Farakka reflects NTPC’s continued commitment to sustainability and responsible corporate citizenship, and highlights IMAGIN’s capability in delivering community-facing CSR work with measurable, on-ground impact.
